Hari Dua Puluh Dua (Home; Defined)

by marrie

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera.

Since last week, we've been expecting a new member of the family and finally the day has arrived. Yesterday, we welcomed a new baby boy. A miracle that doesn't happen everytime (how I see it).

I am in charge to take care of the baby's brother, aged two years and eight months old, while their mommy delivers. Man, it wasn't easy I tell you horr..! This is the moment when I improve the definition of 'home'.

Home; Where you live at a particular time; The place where you are stationed and from which missions start and end; A social unit living together; ...; ...

These are some of the definitions given by dictionaries.

I'd really like to share my thoughts on the definition of 'home'. *Berlatar belakangkan Audio Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, mendefinisikan 'sanctuary'*

Home; the place where training courses are given: Coaching Skills, Management Skills, Communication Skills, Delegation & Follow-up Skills, Supervisory Skills, Motivation at Work, Problem Solving & Decision Making (PSDM), Working in Teams (Team Building), Housekeeping Skills, Independent Skills, Islamic Thoughts Studies, etc.

The course list is endless. The trainers and the trainees exchange their roles constantly and frequently. Wouldn't it be wonderful to grow up in a complete educational institution every single day; to learn everyday, to teach everyday? They exchange knowledge, skills and abilities among themselves.

Dear beloved Blogwanderes and Pedanjas,
Our lives are indeterminable, be it mine or yours. Corny as it sounds, we are the planners but not the determinants (Read: Kita hanya merancang, Allah yang menentukan). What we can do is to wake up EVERY morning, aiming to learn something, ANYTHING, and to revise them before we fall asleep at night. They're going to be useful for coming adventures that we'll live for sure. :D
